At the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Duong Ngoc Long was welcomed by H.E. Mr. Khong Huyen Huu, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China. At the meeting, Mr. Duong Ngoc Long thanked the interest of the Embassy to Thai Nguyen province in the recent years and hoped that with the help and condition creation of the Embassy in future, Thai Nguyen province will continue to strengthen cooperation with Chinese localities and enterprises. He also thanked the enthusiastic participation of the performing art groups of Chinese tea culture, who have contributed to the overall success of the First International Tea Festival in Thai Nguyen, Viet Nam in 2011.

On the new year 2012, Mr. Duong Ngoc Long, on behalf of Thai Nguyen province, wished all officers and employees working at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China a healthy and successful new year. He has sent an invitation to the Ambassador and other officials of the Embassy to visit Thai Nguyen province in the appropriate time.

H.E. Ambassador Khong Huyen Huu thanked the attention of Thai Nguyen leaders in the Embassy. Ambassador highly appreciated the position of Thai Nguyen province in the history of diplomacy between Vietnam - China, which was marked by the event of the first Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of China presented his credentials to the Government of Democratic Republic of Viet Nam in Thai Nguyen province.

The Ambassador also said that they always encouraged Chinese enterprises to look for investment opportunities in Thai Nguyen and welcomed Thai Nguyen businesses in  China to expand cooperation opportunities for development. On this occasion, the Ambassador also wished the people of all ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen a new year with success and prosperity.

At the Indonesian Embassy, Mr. Syamsudin Sidabutar, Representative of Embassy of Indonesia has greeted Mr. Duong Ngoc Long. At the meeting, he said that he was pleased to welcome the leader of Thai Nguyen province to visit the Embassy, Thai Nguyen province and Embassy of Indonesia have good relations in recent years. He has visited Thai Nguyen three times, he was very happy to see the rapid development of Thai Nguyen, and he hoped both sides would strengthen cooperation in the future. On the occasion of the New Year, he wished the ethnic people in Thai Nguyen province continue to gain more achievements.

Mr. Duong Ngoc Long thanked the sincere heart of Mr.  Syamsudin Sidabutar for Thai Nguyen province in the past, highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between the two parties. He said that An Khanh Electricity Joint Stock Company signed investment agreement with two companies of Indonesia in order to set up a joint venture company which implemented to exploit coal and minerals of two coal mines with the reserve volume of 89 million tons and 48 million tons in Eastern Kalimantan province - Indonesia. On the New Year, he sent greetings of health and success to staffs of Embassy of Indonesia, wished the relation between two countries Vietnam - Indonesia sustainable more and more.
